DEVELOPMENT MODEL OF AGRI-TOURISM BASED ON TOURISM QUALITY COMPONENTS THAT INFLUENCE TOURIST SATISFACTION AND LOYALTY (Case of Tourism Service in Bandung)

Abstract


Purpose:: to examine development model of agro-tourism based on tourism quality components that
influence tourist satisfaction and loyalty
Method: apply descriptive explanatory method, with the unit of analysis of individual tourists. The
population of this study was West Bandung tourists with a sample of 374. The independent variable
was four tourism quality components and the dependant variable was tourist satisfaction and tourist
loyalty.
Result Achieved: The tourism quality components significantly and positively contribute to the level
of tourist satisfaction and loyalty. Tourism components that contribute positively to the tourist
satisfaction were the uniqueness of the plant, and growing crops with high traditional authenticity.
Accessibility that led to visitors’ satisfaction and loyalty were the provision of a quality highway.
Amenities service in the form of providing food and drinks that satisfy visitors and encourage loyalty
were those of gastronomic. Dominant qualities of ancillary that contribute to enhance the tourist
satisfaction were the supports of local communities, government and tourism associations.
